MY THOUGHTS
After seeing loads of people online say they were reading it and then hearing nothing else my curiosity got the best of me and i decided to read it for myself. In places i enjoyed the story but in others i found myself zoning out and losing interest which is a shame as the story is an important one to tell. The story started out with Kim Jiyoung’s husband observing her exhibiting some strange behaviour like talking like she is someone else or making inappropriate comments while visiting family and he wants to know where this has come from and why she is behaving like this. The story then takes you back through her life from young girl to the present day of the story. I found some aspects of this book unbelievable that in this day and age women apologising for being pregnant with girls and some having abortions when they find out they are having girls as boys are more favoured.
