Never overstay your welcome…
One year ago, Avery’s best friend Sadie was found dead – dashed on the rocks the night of the infamous end-of-summer party. To Avery’s disbelief, the police quickly rule Sadie’s death a suicide.
A year later new evidence surfaces that suggests Sadie was murdered. Evidence that places Avery under suspicion. Grief-stricken and ostracized, Avery must clear her name before she’s branded a killer…
My thoughts
Having never read a book by this author but hearing good things about her books i was looking forward to reading this book and i did enjoy it i was just still going through a bit of a reading slump so it ended up taking me ages to read. I will admit a few times I wasn’t sure if i was enjoying the story or not but when i let myself get drawn into it i found i did really enjoy it. I found myself liking Avery’s character and from what i knew of her through the story i liked Sadie as well. Overall i found this to be a good book which when i let myself relax and enjoy it i actually did enjoy it and would recommend.
