This book follows the lives of Lisa her daughter Ava and Lisa’s best friend Marilyn who all have stuff going on in their lives and who are all hiding secrets from the world and each other. You get the feeling in the first part that Lisa is hiding from someone or something but you don’t know what till the second part of the story which is also when you find out what is happening with Ava and Marilyn. When things start happening Lisa knows it is something to do with her past and when Ava runs away supposedly with her dad Lisa knows Ava isn’t with him but with someone else from her past so it’s up to her with help from Marilyn to get her daughter back and put to rest the ghosts from her past and I loved it I found after I got to the second part of the book I couldn’t put it down and finished the rest of the book today.
