The Casanova by T.L.Swan

My favorite hobby is infuriating Elliot Miles. Just the sight of my boss’s handsome face triggers my sarcasm. God knows how he earns his Casanova reputation—if a million women want him with his personality, what the heck am I doing wrong?

Disgusted with my love life, I join a dating app under a fake name. I start chatting to a man named Edgar. He’s not my type and lives on the other side of the world, but we hit off a friendship, laugh and confide in each other.

But lately things are getting weird at work. Elliot’s being…attentive. His eyes linger a little longer than they should, and there’s a heat behind them that I haven’t felt before. And then, in the shock of all shocks, he tells me that my vulnerability is appealing. But when was I vulnerable?

Horror dawns…Has my boss been reading my emails to Edgar?

Damn it, why did I use my work email?

Oh no, does he know what I really think of him? I’d rather die than ever admit it.

Or, even worse: is it possible that the man I loathe in real life is the man I’m falling for online?

MY THOUGHTS

I loved the first and second books in this series and read them in a day each this one took me a little longer but i enjoyed it the ending not so much i found it a bit predictable and Kathryn a bit of a sap for just taking what Elliott did to her. The storyline was good i liked Kathryn at the start but as the storyline went on i started to get a bit annoyed by her and Elliott. When Elliott left i felt so sorry for Kathryn but i knew what was going to happen and thought she was stupid but thats just my opinion if someone did to me what he did to her there would be it no going back. I liked the parts where you got to see a softer side to Elliott like with the animals as he mostly comes across as a complete ahole. I did enjoy this book but for me Tristan was always my favourite brother although i liked the relationship between all 4 brothers and the banter between them and there were parts that i couldn’t help laughing at when they were together and with their mum and dad. A warning i you want to read this book the sex scenes in it are very detailed so if sex scenes in a book arent your thing i would give it a miss but i you don’t mind them then i would recommend the whole series of books starting with The Stopover.
