DEATH OF A BOOKSELLER BY ALICE SLATER

Roach – bookseller, loner and true crime fanatic- is not interested in making friends. She has all the company she needs in her serial killer books, murder podcasts and her pet snail, Bleep.

That is, until
Laura joins the bookshop.

With her cute literary tote bags and sunny smile, she’s everyone’s favourite bookseller. But beneath the shiny veneer, Roach senses a darkness within Laura, the same darkness Roach possesses.

And as curiosity blooms into morbid obsession, Roach becomes determined to be a part of Laura’s story – whether Laura wants her in it or not.

MY THOUGHTS

Well where do i start with this book i wasn’t a fan of Roach and i wasn’t a fan of Laura either both people were flawed and obsessive over other people Roach was obsessed with Laura and Laura was obsessed with Eli and his girlfriend and she stalked his girlfriend over social media. The storyline was quite creepy with some of the things Roach did like getting a key cut and letting herself into Laura’s flat and using her bath and falling asleep on her bed and stealing her clothes and mums necklace to wear. Overall i liked this book and enjoyed the storyline i just wasn’t keen on the characters.
